The name of the firm is deliberate. Ooblek — the Seussian substance that behaves like both a solid and a liquid — is a useful metaphor for the businesses Steven works with. Steven's operating philosophy runs on three rails: people, processes, and performance. In his experience, people are the largest and most underestimated variable in business outcomes. Outside of his professional work, Steven enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with his two beloved rescue dogs, Kai and Kona. An avid explorer of both new cuisines and off-the-beaten-path destinations, he brings the same spirit of curiosity, precision, and intentionality to his personal life as he does to business. Beyond his entrepreneurial and strategic endeavors, Steven is deeply committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
